The Hannafore Point Hotel - Looe

It was just an optimal selection for a cursory stop in Looe with very nice value for money. The amenities included a fantastic hydro heated pool. If you're looking for a great meal, try the cajun salmon in the restaurant.

My double room was en suite.

The hotel was in an incredible location short walk to Liskeard, Headlands restaurant, and other attractions. The staff was amiable, attentive, and responded promptly to requests.

The bar offers decent views for a quiet drink, and there's a rooftop space for diners to enjoy the surrounding scenery. Free parking is a nice convenience, especially when you're lugging around luggage, and the accessibility to local attractions is a definite plus.

The hotel faced some clear maintenance challenges, including leaks likely due to its unfavorable position against wind and rain, but it seemed like the management was on top of repairs. Wi-Fi was nearly nonexistent. I gave up trying to log in after multiple attempts. Dining options were limited and the timing of food service felt off, as meals arrived slowly and weren't cooked to order on occasion. My room had an unwelcoming chill and an oddly persistent smell that reminded me of an old thrift shop, which didn't help the overall comfort. Unfortunately, some aspects felt outdated and a bit worn, leaving me longing for something fresher.

The location was perfect and best possible, within easy walking distance of a nature reserve island. It was across the very nice area. Everything seemed really good, impeccably clean.

Solo traveler cautious about costs

The staff were friendly, really friendly. I especially enjoyed just sitting around and taking in the view from the balcony. Plus, the breakfast spread was excellent, you had options, great options and that bacon, boy it was good.

Not exactly a bargain though, not by a long shot.

Would recommend for a budget stay

Clean room, friendly staff, the bar area provides a great view for relaxation after a day of exploring.

The views from my Double Room with Sea View were out of this world, with endless horizons and fine sunrises, made waking up a delight! Enjoying breakfast with that panoramic view of the bay was the perfect start to my day. Plus, the indoor pool and spa facilities were a relaxing treat after exploring nearby coastal trails.

This place suits me perfectly! With free Wi-Fi, a relaxing indoor pool, and helpful staff who assisted with sim cards on my first visit, it has everything I need. I recommend enjoying the spa treatments! I'll be back for Christmas.

great stay with fine views

The sea view room offered an very nice perspective, great to watch seals daily from our balcony. The staff were genuine gems, particularly the reception lady who lent us binoculars to see whales.

Check-in could be slightly more streamlined.
